    Strain Gauge Data

I need some help with interpreting Strain Gage Data (in psi).
Okay I have the readout form the Micostrain gage at say 750. So Strain x Young's Modulus (6061 T6) = Stress right?
But I' unsure of how interpret the data...the numbers are making no sense to me

would love to see how this equation should actually look with an explanation.
    Thank you all

The equation you posted is correct. The modulus for 6061 is 10x10^6 so the resulting equation is: 10x10^6 x 750x10^-6 = 7500 psi.

    Thank you very much JAlberts.

Next question;I understand that this is the answer and the mechanism/equation behind it, BUT.....I'm now not sure of what it means in relation to the stress imposed on the material. So the 7500psi means what? I am fascinated by this subject and I'm keen to learn more.
    Thanks in advance.
