    Copper Heat Sink Design Help

Hello, I am building a heat exchanger that will draw heat out of a 1.5 in diameter pipe. My plan is to take a section copper sheet(4.72 in x 6.875 in) 24 or 30 gauge and will bend one of the following patterns into the sheet then bend it around the pipe. I just need help with a design of the heat sink, there is a fan that will blow air across the heat sink and it will be enclosed.

What pattern would you recommend I bend for maximum strength and could be done in a basic work shop. To get the circle/wave pattern I can take a piece of 1/8 or 3/16 in rod, to make the square pattern a piece of square steel could be used.

Ive tried to look at info for bending sheet metal to get an idea but am not coming up with much any input/ideas would be helpful, thanks for looking.

Attached is a .jpeg that show the patterns and gives an idea of what im talking about.
