    Material starting form for stub axle

    Hi,

    I need helping determining how the material start form will vary depending on the amount to be manufactured (One off, small batch, mass production).

    I just searched the internet for "Material starting form" zero references...

    This is slang for?

    Apologies, I mean the shape of the block material prior to turning on a lathe. Hope this is clearer.
