Storing ABS and PLA 3D Printing Filament

ABS filament is known for absorbing moisture, therefore it is a good ideal to store your ABS filament to minimize the contamination.

Most of the time you can use an airtight container with a few desiccant packets.. However, some specialty filaments should be stored in an airtight container. PVA is notorious for absorbing humidity resulting is your filament printing very poorly.

I have been using reusable vacuum sealed bags to store my filament. These can be purchased at Walmart or similar store.. Works great!

I keep my ABS and PLA filament in a plastic storage container with a lid. I don't keep my filament for long but it seems to work.
