    Mass Inertia calculation of Planetary gearbox

    Does anybody know the formula to calculate mass Inertia of planetary gearbox? It's 32mm size gearbox with 3 stage, 100 ratio, 175gm weight, 6000 input speed & can take a load of 4.5 Mm at output shaft.plz help.

    You need the mass moment of inertia for each gear.. then sum the inertia's see:
