    Beam Bending Supported on Both Ends with Single Load at Center

    I am trying to use the beam bending calculator and keep coming up with NaN n the results. What does it mean? Also the number I enter in the moment of inertia column is .0136 (from Solid Works mass properties) and the calculator rounds it off to 0.000, any Suggestions? I am trying to calculate how much bow I could expect by adding ribs to a plastic injection molded part. Thanks. in advance for your help.

    Your numbers are too small for the calculator to handle. Which means that your design is unpredictable.

    Hand calculate using the referenced equations..
