    Exclamation Need basic help

    Hello everybody!

My name is Roman. I'm rookie in US engineering. I studied mechanical engineering in my country (Ukraine). I see differences in standarts of drawing & other branches. So I need basic help. Can someone give me advice what literature should I choose to get required general knowledge in rules & standarts of US engineering, drawings etc.

    Thank you!

    Hi Roman, and welcome...
This is a link to a page on this site that has several books that you'll find helpful. You may be able to find them used somewhere and save a lot of money...?

I would stick with either ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) or ANSI (American National Standards Institute) publications.
Good luck and have a great day.

Hi and welcome Roman. I have used this company many times over the years and they seem to carry a good range of technical publications. Follow Bob's suggestions on what to get.
