    Compressibility of copper gaskets/sheets

    Hi all,

I am specifying a corrugated copper gasket to sit between a 25mm diameter bolt (w/ 42mm diameter bolt head) and a steel wall.
I need to specify a gasket thickness that will deliver a compression of 1-2mm when the bolt is loaded to 10kN.

Does anyone know where I may find a guide to calculating or standards for the compressibility of corrugated gaskets or corrugated sheets.

    Thanks in advance,
    David

The material manufacturer should have compressibility data if not you should conduct tests.
