Helix type stand in steel or aluminium

    Hello,
I designed a helix type stand (114cm in length, 1cm diameter) which I want to produce in stainless steel or aluminium as a prototype. It should be one piece and have a brushed finish.
I've been looking for manufacturer in the UK and Asia for weeks without anyone having the right capabilities. I'd like to turn to you experts to learn why a seemingly simple shape offers such big difficulties to produce. Might it be the pockets in the top ring or just the helix?
For any suggestions a to where to look to produce or how to make it easier for manufacturers, I will be very grateful.
    Thanks,
    Sandro

How big is is? Height x width x length.. Looks like a formed pipe.
Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.

114cm in length, diameter of 1cm and ca 11cm in width. Yes, you can call it a formed pipe with holes.
