    Air tanks in parallel and series

    Ive seen parallel air tanks on the internet, and you get increased parallel volume from them, but if you connect them charge inlet to outlet, inlet to outlet, in a series connection - do you get increased psi?
    Also what about pumps in series - is there increased force?

    Im a little doubtful, because it doesnt seem to be on the internet, and im going to do some self experimenting as well, but can anyone give me some advice on this, Id be very grateful, thanks.

    Compressed air tanks in parallel is mostly the same as in series... It's just piping.

    Thanks for reply.

    Yes, there doesnt seem to be enough difference to quantify anything different happening, having the tanks connected in series just makes for 1 bigger air tank, its no different.

    I read more on the internet, and im happy to say pumps in series is different from parallel, because they are making vaccums for each other, so it could possibly be true they run with less resistance in series, but it doesnt seem to be true for air tanks.
