    Pressure Sensing Device

I need to run an electric DC motor, by sensing the pressure at a hydraulic pipeline(lesser the pressure more the speed of the DC motor).
What pressure sensor should I use. Someone suggested a piezoelectric pressure sensor, but will it work properly with the hydraulic pipeline, which would have highly varying pressure.
Where can I find more about piezoelectric pressure sensors, their specifications and different types.
Or any other sensor that I could use with hydraulic pipeline

    Lots of places.
Here's the first one that comes to my mind: www.omega.com
Here's an industrial index site. They list 629 companies under the category "Sensors: Pressure":
    www.thomasnet.com/

Also, look in your yellow pages and contact any local industrial supply house, like maybe Grainger or similar.

    thank you
so piezoelectric pressure sensor would work with hydraulic system, right?
i had my doubts, any other better option for sensor?

    Ask the pressure sensor manufacturers.
