    BS-8888 Concentricity on turned parts

    Hello.
    I am trying to locate in BS-8888 what is the geometric tolerance for concentricity (cylinder+tap hole) on turned parts.

    Could anyone help?

    BS8888 does not provide specific guidance on concentricity tolerance however paragraph 9.1 - 9.3, general tolerances does suggest the usage of BS EN 22768-1 also known as ISO 2768-1 for general tolerances.


    BS8888 is a drafting as well as dimensioning and tolerancing standard.


    Specific tolerances, whether ISO 2768 or otherwise are designed by the engineering drawing creator ~ engineer or designer.
