    Spectrum analyzer

    Hello to everyone,

I hope that my question fits into this forum's category. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.

I would like to know whether it is possible to use a spectrum analyzer to measure whether there has been an unusual amount of radiation been aimed at a person. Thereby the source of radiation is not further known.
Who would do such measurements professionally?

    Thank you in advance.

A Spectrum analyzer is just a modern Oscilloscope. You would need the relevant sensors that process whatever the radiation is.
Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.

A spectrum / signal analyzer measures the magnitude of an input signal versus frequency within the full frequency range of the instrument. The primary use is to measure the power of the spectrum of known and unknown signals.
