    load - torque - energy

I have to check the energy stored in spring during winding, in tensioner assly.
The load cell is to be used to measure the torque during winding spring & then convert this torque to energy.

Do you know the formulas relating torque to energy? If not, you can search for them on this site or any basic engineering text.
