I am working on a project for school in my FEA class where we are supposed to explore aspects of FEA not covered in class using Ansys workbench 13. So for a simple example I have chosen to model a dinner glass and am testing different ways that it could break. So far I have tested it in Static Structural and explicit dynamics. The last way I would like to test it is for thermal shock to see what kind of temperature range it would take to break it but I cannot figure out how to do it. I was testing it doing a joint steady-state thermal static structural doing an initial temperature of 100 degrees C and an applied temperature of 0 C on one edge but could not get results that looked right. If there is any suggestions on how to go about this analysis that would be great thanks
