This sheet determines the Q of a standard multiple feedback band pass filter for all 5% values of Rin and Rf ; use it in tandem with Sheet 2 which gives the center frequency of the filter. Read Rin down the left hand column, and Rf across the top. Not all choices are reasonable, of course. You need to select a decent input impedance determined by Rin, and end up with a legitimate Q less than or equal to 5 for a circuit of this type. Center Frequency of the Multiple Feedback Band Pass Filter

This sheet determines the center frequency of a standard multiple feedback band pass filter for 5% values of Rin and 10% values of C . From Sheet 1 you have already selected a suitable value for Q (from which you determined Rin and Rf ). Enter that value of Q here, in the upper left hand corner of the table. Then find the row corresponding to your Rin, and read values of C across the top. The results are in Hertz. Notice that the Gain is computed, too, and is based upon Q .
