Could someone explain the following for metering pumps,
1. What is the difference between lost motion capacity control and fully engaged capacity control of a metering pump. 2. A client recently stated "Lost motion capacity control (mechanical or hydraulic) is not acceptable for pumps with a motor power of 0.25 kW". I would like to know the reason for this statement if anyone can explain. 3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each type of capacity control. |
