Hi All,
I need advice. I have to design a Steel Cabin using I beams for the vertical members and similar for the roof. The roof will have main beams and cross beams. The external dimensions of the cabin are: length 6mtr; depth 4mtr; and height 4.5mtr. There are two cabins to be done. In the first cabin the roof is a roof. The second cabin has a mezanine office. So the load will be around 400kg per sq. mtr.Need to know the section of I beams to be used in both cases for verticals and roof.Await response. Modified by rproy at Sat, Nov 20, 2010, 08:39:28 |

Hello I have made a schematic drawing about what I understood about your project et I would know if I didn't mistake. I have got some questions else. Could you tell me the sort of root for the first cabin and the type of fixation between the different beams (welding, screw...)?
