Hi: is there an easy way to detrmine the temperature rise of a heat sink in 0.4 sec and 5554W of heat applied to it at 50C ambient. Thank you |

You need two pieces of information:
1) the heat capacity of the heat sink in W/deg rise or its weight and material. 2) the conductance to the ambient, W/degree difference or its surface area to ambient . If you give us these, the answer is available. |
