Hi ppl,i am currently researching on the basic mechanics of a car jack. But till now i am still unable to find out the exact weight the jack is supporting if one tyre is faulty.Supposing the car weighs 1,300 Kg, can i assume the weight supported by the car jack to be a quarter of that figure?Can anyone help?Many Thks,
