After several years (11 to be exact) we finally talked the boss into buying an iron worker to help in the fabrication work we do involving bar stock, channel and angle. This thing is cool and can punch, bend and cut various materials with speed and precision. It sure beats a bandsaw and a drill press for general ironwork!

My question is this:

Do any of you guys have experience with an iron worker? In particular, have you found any creative (yet safe!) ways to utilize an ironworker that allowed you more freedom when designing a part or product? Please share any info and I am going to become familiar with the machine and its capabilities.
