I am looking for properties including dimensions, section modulus and moment of inertia for a 9" beam salvaged from an old bridge. My steel manual does not include a 9" beam. It is approximately 9" tall and 4 1/4" wide. I assume it is 40-60 years old. If you could provide the information or direct me to an online source I would appreciate it. Thanks, Ron

Guess you don have the table ,
It can be draw in ACAD , and get all it's section properties.

If you can make a sketch , and post it here , I can do it for you.

Sketch shall have all dimensions.

Welcome to the Engineers Edge RRH!

You can calculate the section modulus and moment on inertia from the structural shape details (feature sizes).

The structural shape could have been a custom size
