Hi Folks,

Looking forward to start up a Manufacturing unit of Slotted angles and Shelves (Storage systems) used by warehouses, Godowns, retails showrooms.

The process requires three functions

Punching or holing
Bending
Cutting

The material would be CR, HR, or MS

The Max angle width would be 2.5mtr and Max thickness would be 3mm.

Can anyone please help me with the automatic or mechanical machines required for the above process. I am looking for not an expensive option at the moment. Maybe I can spent USD 5000 - USD 6000 for the above process.

I am scratching my head here, wondering how you are going to come up with an ironworker or turret punch, pressbrake and saw for less than $5000USD.

You will be working with approximately 11 ga. steel. This will require fairly substantial equipment to cut, punch and bend. Garden variety, discount store punches and brakes will generally accomodate up to 18 ga. material, but to jump up to 3mm thickness, you are going to have to fork over some real dough.

Doesn't seem like much of plan does it Ron...I was kind of hinting that he do his homework.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Have you researched how your competition fabricated their products?

If you post an example of what you want to make that would be great.
