Dear Sir I'm publishing a book called "The Art of Gear Design", and ofcourse one of its chapter is "Gear modification". So it seems that I'm a small specialist in this field. You can find your answer in "Hand Book of Gear Design" by Maitra or the MAAG hand book. The informations in these two books are very practical and useful. Hello E Foroozmehr The book of Gitin M Maitra gives formula for external gear pair. Doe the formula provided in Handbook of Gear Design By Maitra or Maag Gear book holds good for Internal gear pair too. Actually I tried using same for internal gear pair but to me it doesnt appears correct. May be I am doing some thing wrong. Want to know your comment. Thanks Isha
