Hi,

Sun torque is known, carrier torque is known, and ring torque is known. How do I calculate torque on the planetary pinion gears? Can I just divide the carrier torque by the number of pinion gears?

Thank you.

Depends on whether the gear train is accelerating.
If not, then what are those gears driving to make them have any torque?
