| Solid meshing in Hypermesh | |||

I am new to solid meshing in Hypermesh and need some help. I need to solid mesh a component after trimming the solids. input is an IGES part. Do I first create a shell mesh, or directly trim the solids with solid edit feature Can someone give me some pointers on how to go about it
