i am using a V-belt with a cast iron pulley. In order to find the load on the shaft which carries the pulley, i need to know the co-efficient of friction between the pulley & the belt. I referred the belt manufacturers' catalogue where i could not find any data on friction.

What will the nominal value of co-efficient of friction? where else can i get it?

Thank U.
