You can find some info in the machinery handbook e.g.:

SAE Grade 4 - Yield 100 000 psi - medium carbon - Treatment: cold drawn
SAE Grade 7 - Yield 115 000 psi - medium carbon alloy - Treatment: quench and temper
SAE Grade 8.2 - Yield 130 000 psi - low carbon martensite - Treatment: quench and temper
