Does anyone have experience with welding FEP ultrasonically. I have Kapton material that is coated with FEP that i need to weld to itself without the use of adhesives. I know that the polyimide will not be useful in the weld but i was hoping that there was some way to get the coating to bond to it self ultrasonically. Any ideas or help with process parameters would be much appreciated. |
