Can anyone help in the design of a piston like the one shown. I need to know how will it be produced? How much will it cost producing it? For how much can I sell it? Assuming it has its own cylinder(a if it was a single cylinder engine). I need need to make a table of competing options. PlEASE HELP!! THIS PROJECT IS DUE ON WED 15.

inmemarcos, Your picture depicts a simple four-stroke reciprocating engine, technically identical to a single cylinder lawnmower engine. Your question leaves out a bunch of key information, such as; Quantities of manufacture Horsepower and torque requirements Operating conditions Weight and installation requirements. The short answer is; if you only need a couple of horsepower and low torque, then a simple 4-stroke engine purchased from Briggs and Stratton for a few hundred dollars retail is your answer. The more horse power the more money. As far as competing options, you could contrast a two-stroke engine of identical HP, A Weikel cycle engine, and a gas turbine. Please be advised, that most folks whom visit Engineers Edge are in the trenches (working) engineers. Homework type questions do not typically get a lot of attention.
