Can someone please help me!!!!
I want to use an Aluminum U channel to support a load of 1000lbs. evenly distributed. The channel is supported by two wheels. My question is what type of aluminum should I use, and what should the thickness of the flanges be? I already have some known dimensions that I have to live with. Thanks
Please look at the attachment for more details. The dimensions are in inches.

I can't believe this is not homework. Post the application and then maybe we can look at it.
