HI.
What is the BC of rotating disc w/wo shaft to simulate in Ansys for static analysis?
Thanx.

The BC of a rotating disk are raletively simple to formulate.
the outer boundary - which is free from tractions as well as free from displacements - shouldn't have any defined BC.
The inner boundary depends on the disk relations to its enviroment. If it is assabled on a shaft, then you should express its axisymmetric stress.

What is a little more challanging is the formulation of the forces acting on the domain - specificaly centriptal force wich depends on the material mass density and radius.
I'm not familiar with Ansys, but I know some other FEM program. Anyway, they all work the same.

And here's an example you can use:
https://www.colorado.edu/engineering/CAS/courses.d/AFEM.d/AFEM.Ch12.d/AFEM.Ch12.pdf

on page 17 you can find the expression for the sress field acting on the domain of a rotating thin disk.
