Hey there all, I am new to Metric threads and am having a hard time understanding tolerance grade and position. I really want to know specifically about an M4 x 0.4 thread. Is 6g tighter or looser than a 4g6g. Are there other acceptable fits in the Machinists handbook? Could you please advise me. I understand the UTS 2B and 3B fitting but am having a hardtime with the metric system.
