JOO,I'm sorry, but I do not understand exactly what you are asking.If you are looking for a good rule of thumb for minimum length of thread engagement then...Use 1.5 * Major Diameter of ScrewFor example, if an M3 is being used, then the minimum length of engagement should be 1.5 * 3 = 4.5 mm.Important Note: This rule of thumb is just that. It is not a perfect formula. Things to consider are 1) material (of both screw and mate), 2) installation rpm's, etc.Good luck.: i have a question.: my question is how we want to determine that the amount number of thread fastener design will give a best or worst engagement? why? thank for those who help me. 10x again, tanwengjoo77@hotmail.com
