hi there,

I was looking through the dimensions of a bolt :

And i do not understand abut the dimension of the thread length,b.Im looking for an M16 bolt with a unthreaded shank 50mm in length,can somebody explain to me what these values means:


For a M16 bolt :
b=<125 :38
b=<200 :44
b>200 :57

It's simple....these are lengths of the threaded portion of the screw or "b" at various screw lengths.

Example: 90mm (l) - 38 (b) = 52 long unthread portion. It looks like a 90mm long screw should help
