searching for temperature-driven devices

is there any device that uses temperature to run a shaft or turbine? this device does not use any others sources such as electricity, solar energy,etc........but just use temperature.if there are any devices that have the same information, please sent me the names of the devices and its construction.thank you.

There are a number of memory metal devices used as actuators. also bimetal strips are used as actuators. both temperature driven. but not continuous output devices like a motor.

I did see a loop of two way memory metal used to power a toy boat. a candle heated the wire loop and then the water cooled it. the loop ran verticly between some rollers so that when it was heated it tried to straighten and caused the loop to rotate.
I guess that would qualify as a temperature driven motor.
Never seen this mechanism used for anything useful.

Yes there are, but none are really self running, (yet). The sterling
motor is a close example, but it requires a candle or
other heat changing device. If you look up sterling
motors you will find several other devices in the links
of the sites run by that group of hobbiest and professionals.
