    Accurately drawing a Stepped Foundation

    Hi guys/ galls

I am working on a project ( garage with office space above) that will be built on existing sloping grade. We will be excavating a lot of the existing grade to accommodate the proposed garage slab.

I would like to learn how to accurately draw a stepped footing in relation to the grade and elevation. I was told it dose not have to be drawn exact, but I want to ensure I draw things as accurately as possible.

Would anyone here be able to give me some pointers and or show how to properly draw a stepped footing in this example?

I would greatly appreciate any help.

    Thank you.

There's a soils and foundations manual here: You need to be premium to read it.
