    :bash: Flatness and surface finish spec

    Image attachment failed - reattach

    In Detail A view, Im installing a hyd. motor in a welded plate and the install guide calls for flatness but what does "S" mean in regards to the tolerance.

    Same for the surface finish. Im not sure what "V" means for the average roughness.

    My guess... is that somewhere on the engineering drawing there is a note, table or reference document that defines "S" as well as V, U and M.
