ok, ive just done so much research an it isnt coming up with much. ive done about 9 of the 20 and im struggling with the rest

such things as

Name 2 specialist types of dividing head?

How does a micro boring head work?

I type these into a search engine an it just trys to sell me these items in question. its also difficult to get a specific answer out of old engineering books

sorry for troubling you

..big grin... try visiting a machine shop or looking up books about machine shop skills. These are standard basic general machinest questions.

...AND.... the questions are designed to make you do exactly that.

If the questions are about things like what its like to be an engineer, thats something we can help you with. But if they are technical questions on knowledge you should be learning in school that is a different matter. We won't do your homework.

It is a tuff call. ..but, while we will help you with theory and such we make it a policy not to help with schooling questions. Now, sometimes what is meant by help can get into gray areas and some kinds of help is sometimes offered, but providing answers to questions is completely out of range.

We feel like you and the engineering family are better off if you work out the answers for your self... this is the whole reason for the questions.

..big smile.... but....GOOD LUCK!
