What is the effect of keeping the PF higher then 0.8 on the alternator of the genset.

What is the effect of keeping the PF lower then 0.8 on the alternator of the genset.

What is the relationship between voltage and PF any formula or any website where I can get good information

What is the effect of keeping the PF high on the industrial machines where PF 0.8 is recommended
