Hi!

Can any one give me an idea about how to size a pressure vessel for specific volume @ certain pressure(16 bar) and temp: (55Deg. C)

Thank you for help.

Farah

I doubt it with the limited information you have provided. What's the function? What's the fluid? What codes apply (ASME, etc.)? What factors affect its manufacture, use, maintenance, etc?

Dear Sir:

with reference to your reply I respond as follows:

1. Function/ Use of vessel is: Supply of compressed air for the operation of pneumatic machinary.
2. Codes (ASME)
3. Media: Air

How to size this pressure vessel? What type of dish we use here?

Regards,

Farah

I would contact a fluid power vendor that sells compressors and pneumatic machinery and ask for their help. Lots of variables will apply - max pressure, min pressure, flow rates, connections, environment, and others.

If you are designing the vessel yourself, you should become VERY familiar with the ASME code.

Not sure what you mean by "dish".
