When 600 < V_{oc} ≤ 2.7 the final values of incident energy and arc-flash boundary are given as follows:

AFB = AFB_{3}

When Voc > 2.7, the final values of incident energy and arc-flash boundary are given as follows:

AFB = AFB_{2}

Where:

AFB_{1} = First AFB interpolation term between 600 V and 2700 V (mm)

AFB_{2} = Second AFB interpolation term used when Voc is greater than 2700 V (mm)

AFB_{3} = Third AFB interpolation term used when Voc is less than 2700 V (mm)

AFB_{600} = Arc-flash boundary at Voc = 600 V (mm)

AFB_{2700} = Arc-flash boundary at Voc = 2700 V (mm)

AFB_{14300} = Arc-flash boundary at Voc = 14,300 V (mm)

VOC = System open-circuit voltage (kV)
