B1.22M - Gages and Gaging for MJ" Series Metric Screw Threads

This Standard provides essential specifications and dimensions for the gages used on MJ series metric screw threads, and covers the specifications and dimensions for the thread gages and measuring equipment listed in Tables 1 and 2. The basic purpose and use of each gage are also described.

B89.1.9 - Gage Blocks

This Standard covers specifications for gage blocks up to and including 20in. and 500mm in length, including physical properties, general dimensions, tolerance grades, flatness, parallelism, surface texture requirements, and definitions of length. It is not the intent of this Standard to preclude the use of other styles (shapes), classes, and types (material) of gage blocks provided they are properly correlated by the manufacturer and user to this Standard and yield comparable results with respect to conformance within specified limits. This Standard covers specifications for gage blocks up to and including 20 in. and 500 mm in length, including physical properties, general dimensions, tolerance grades, flatness, parallelism, surface texture requirements, and definitions of length. It is not the intent of this Standard to preclude the use of other styles (shapes), classes, and types (material) of gage blocks provided they are properly correlated by the manufacturer and user to this Standard and yield comparable results with respect to conformance within specified limits.

B47.1 - Gage Blanks

This Standard covers standard designs for the following: (a) plain and thread plug gage blanks to 12.010 in. maximum gaging diameter; (b) plain and thread ring gage blanks to 12.260 in. maximum gaging diameter; (c) involute and serrated spline plug and ring gage blanks to 8.000 in. major diameter; (d) straight-sided spline plug and ring gage blanks to major diameters of 8.000 in. for plugs and 6.000 in. for rings; (e) machine taper plug and ring gage blanks to 5.000 in. gaging diameter; (f) adjustable snap gages to 12 in.; (g) adjustable length gages to any desired length; (h) master disks up to 8.010 in. in diameter. Recommended general designs covering taper plug and ring gages for special applications, flush-pin gages, and flat plug gages are also included. This Standard is intended to deal only with the dimensions of blanks, frames, and fittings. However, it is expected that gages made from these blanks shall be finished in accordance with accepted good gagemaking practice with respect to accuracy and workmanship.

B31.2 - Fuel Gas Piping

This Code covers the design, fabrication, installation, and the testing of piping systems for fuel gases used in buildings and between buildings, from the outlet of the meter to the first pressure valve. Note: This Code was withdrawn as an American National standard in 1968. A portion of the B31.2 Code requirements have been incorporated into B31.8

PTC 50 - Fuel Cell Power Systems Performance

This Code applies to all fuel cell power systems regardless of the electrical power output, thermal output, fuel cell type, fuel type, or system application. Fuel cell power systems contain an assembly of electrochemical cells, which oxidize a fuel to generate direct current electricity. Balance-of- plant subsystems may include controls, thermal management, a fuel processor and a power conditioner. Some fuel cell power systems may contain additional power generating equipment such as steam generators, gas turbine generators, or micro-turbine generators. The net power output and all the fuel input to the system shall be taken into account in the performance test calculations. This Code applies to the performance of overall fuel cell power systems. The Code addresses combined heat and power systems, that is, the generation of electricity and usable heat at specific thermal conditions. It does not address the performance of specific subsystems nor does it apply to energy storage systems, such as regenerative fuel cells or batteries. It also does not address emissions, reliability, safety issues, or endurance. This Code contains methods and procedures for conducting and reporting fuel cell system testing, including instrumentation to be used, testing techniques, and methods for calculating and reporting results. The Code defines the test boundary for fuel and oxidant input, secondary energy input and net electrical and thermal energy output. At these boundaries, this Code provides procedures for measuring temperature, pressure, input fuel flow and composition, electrical power, and thermal output. The Code provides procedures for determination of electrical efficiency or heat rate and overall thermal effectiveness at rated or any other steady state condition. The Code also provides the method to correct results from the test to reference conditions.

A112.6.2 - Framing-Affixed Supports for the Off-The-Floor Water Closets with Concealed Tanks.

This Standard establishes minimum performance requirements for framing-affixed supports for off-the-floor water closets with concealed tanks. It is not intended to limit the use of other materials, finishes, and designs that equal or exceed the requirements of this Standard. properties, in addition to a general description of materials used. Certain features of construction of the finished product are given, together with the method of marking and identification. The provisions of this Standard are not intended to prevent the use of any alternate material or method of construction, provided any such alternate meets the intent of this Standard.

B16.11 - Forged Fittings Socket Welding and Threaded

This Standard covers ratings, dimensions, tolerances, marking and material requirements for forged fittings, both socket-welding and threaded.

B18.15 - Forged Eyebolts

This standard is limited to dimensions and capacities for forged threaded eyebolts intended primarily for lifting applications, and covers the following types and styles. Type 1, Plain Pattern(straight shank) Style A, Long Length Style B, Short Length Type 2, Shoulder Pattern Style A, Long Length Style B, Short Length Appendices A and B contain descriptive and cautionary information pertinent to forged eyebolts.

MFC-8M - Fluid Flow in Closed Conduits: Connections for Pressure Signal Transmissions Betwn Primary & Secondary Devices

This Standard describes the practices and means which allow the pressures at a head type primary device to be conveyed to the secondary device in a flow measurement system without introducing unnecessary measurement uncertainties.

PTC 40 - Flue Gas Desulfurization Units

The object is to establish standard procedures for the conduct and reporting of performance tests of flue gas desulfurization systems. The performance of a flue gas desulfurization system (FGDS) is defined to be the characterization of inputs and outputs (see Fig 1.1). This may include, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: (a) percent SO removal (%R) (b) Reagent Ratio (RR1 or RRR) (c) energy/power consumption (d) water consumption and characterization (e) reagent consumption and characterization (f) waste/by product production and characterization (g) Available and Reliability. Availability and reliability of the FGDS are not within the scope of this Code.
